Every good meeting starts with 4 Meeteaings. We offer a tea kit for people who want to have meetings, parties and gatherings over tea. 4 Meeteaings aims to spark conversation over a cup of tea with conversation starters and exciting new flavours, so you and your friends and family always have something to share.
Meeteaings is a brand I created for a university project. I created the packaging to resemble a flower bud, and when opened, the petals fall out, revealing 4 different floral teas and tea bags. The aim of this packaging was to get people together for a “Meeteaning“ or tea party. After the lockdown, people weren’t used to going out and talking to their friends. This was an attempt to get people back together and engage in something fun.
Packaging
The packaging is in the shape of a flower to connect back to the flower-based teas, but also to share. When using the tea set, you place it in the middle of the table. You then face each petal in the bud to face each person. You untie the ribbon at the top and let the flower bloom towards you. Whichever petal falls toward you is your tea. There are organic tea bags that have a short description of the tea as well as a talking point based on the tea. You scoop the loose-leaf tea in the middle into the tea bag and put it in hot water and the cup of your choice. Milk and sugar are optional.
When presented, it was displayed with a mini style guide, which acted as a coaster to put your tea cup on.
